September 18, 2017 Dear Parents and Guardians, I hope everyone had a fantastic weekend. Last week, students tried a new transition with First Grade. The first graders came to my room to be taught First Grade Social Studies. Our class went to Ms. Moskal's room to be taught Second Grade Science. This transition will continue twice a week with only one subject (Social Studies for First Grade and Science for Second Grade). This is to help better prepare both classes for next year. Second Grade will be transitioning among three teachers for different subjects next year. The first graders will be able to know my expectations by the time they come to me. This week we will be:

September 5, 2017 Dear Parents and Guardians, I hope everyone had an amazing three day weekend! The students got through the heat last week. Please continue to pack your child water in their lunches as the heat may continue this week. This week we will be:
Pan de Vida is collecting cereal this week. Those who bring in a regular size cereal will be able to get free dress on September 14th. Students and parents have the option of writing a prayer of intention that will be read during our class prayer. We have received a few from the students and some from parents. As a class, we have discussed Hurricane Harvey and have been praying for those in Texas. This week the Kindness Club is asking for $2 donation for those who have been affected by Hurricane Harvey.
