December 18, 2017 Dear Parents and Guardians, Christmas is a week away! I know the students can hardly wait until that joyous day. We’ve been counting down on our class calendar. There will be no homework this week. This week we will be:
Just a friendly reminder regarding the Christmas Program. Boys should have black dress pants, black dress shoes, and a shirt or sweater with any solid Christmas color (red, white, silver, green or gold). No logos or pictures, just solid colors allowed. The girls should have black dress or skirt with black tights or leggings, and a blouse or sweater with solid Christmas color (as mentioned above). Students are to arrive at 5:30pm in the classroom and the program will start at 6pm in the gym. I hope everyone has a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! Sincerely, Ms. Vargas [email protected] http://sjfmsvargas.weebly.com/ Important Dates
Good Morning Parents,
I hope everyone is having a great morning. A couple of updates regarding next week. I am postponing the Religion Ch. 11 and Spelling Test #11 to next Thursday, Dec. 14th. I will send Religion books home on Monday and Tuesday so that they can study for the test. The First Communion Meeting for students making their First Communion will be next Wednesday, Dec. 13th at 6pm. Also, Family Mass is still on for this Sunday, Dec. 10th. Take care. Sincerely, Ms. Vargas Due to the unhealthy air quality from the fires, school will be closed on Dec. 7th and 8th. Please continue to check SchoolSpeak for updates. Spelling and Religion tests will be postponed until later next week to give students time to study. Stay safe everyone.
rgas Good Evening Parents,
I hope everyone got home safely today. There is no school tomorrow. For those who were going to attend the First Communion Meeting, it is canceled as well. I will give you an update on the rescheduled date as soon as I find out. Take care and be safe. Sincerely, Second Grade Weekly Newsletter
